Hot Club De Paris LIVE

On the 25th of February, real horrorshow tunes went to see Hot Club De Paris.
I know that a lot of people were looking forward to seeing Hot Club, and it showed, the venue was pretty packed, and the crowd was stoked to see them play.
There aren’t many bands that when it comes to playing live, can play as tight as their album. Hot Club De Paris not only play tight but keep it fun as well, engaging the crowd, and generally enjoying themselves. They even played “Bonded by Blood”, an accapella track, which worked really well, and made the whole thing seem like a open mic night at a sailors pub.
Highlight of the gig was “Who am I (Whats My Name)“, which ended the gig with a question… whats my mother fucking name?
It was weird watching Hot Club De Paris play, mainly cause i’ve listened to them all these years and never seen them up close, I thought they would be in and out, but they seemed really happy to be playing, even though this was the second to last gig on the tour. Overall it was a feel-good gig, and I left a happy chappy.

They were really approachable and we got to have a nice conversation pre-show at the merch table. I even enjoyed the songs I’m not familiar with, so hope to see them again when they go on tour whenever and buy their new album and EP.”
