HorrorshowPodcast #2 – FOUNTAINHEAD MIX
In the second podcast of this ongoing series, I present a mix based around the plot of Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead, a book which I adored, although as Lisa Simpson recently called it “the bible of right wing losers” some of the bands featured, I assume, would probably not enjoy the notion of being adjoined to this book. However, the often called right wing philosophy of Objectivism, as created by the author Ayn Rand, champions human greatness and despite some uncompromising downsides, it presents a version of humanity where ambition is unrightfully (yet, thankfully contestedly) punished. The narrative has a drive that becomes addictive and I enjoyed the whole novel, leading me to make this podcast. It’s mostly sad songs, but ultimately, they cultivate a bodacious mix.
