A nice tip-off from the ever-knowledgeable guys at the Lost Lost Lost blog, led me to listen to Surf Club, whose lo-fi and instantly nostalgia-inducing stylings will leave you wrapped up in some kind of dreamy haze, longing for simpler times and adventures of yesteryear. It’s simply a lovely little ditty, clocking in at only two and a half minutes. But who would want more? Short, snappy and irrepressible pop songs prove timeless and by the sound of Surf Club, it’s headed along the same route.
