THEY WON’T COME RIGHT OUT

A disparate, slicing feeling is left when hearing Deptford Goth’s remix of the latest Blood Diamonds track, “Grins”. Hand-claps galore and an unsettlingly rapid drum pattern make this a tense reconstruction, but one that is incredibly tight, a must-listen. I just can’t get my head round whether I feel threatened or welcomed by that repeated vocal refrain.
