RITUAL CONFESSION / SPIRIT HOUSE

Yeah, so pretty late to Fear of Men, it took an email off Jess from the band to really kick me into listening yesterday and I’ve been hooked ever since. Kinda good timing, as their debut single will be released this monday. “Ritual Confession” is one very special track that pulls you in with an addictive, nostalgia-inducing sound that’s hard to deny and a voice that reminds me of the Vivian Girls is immediately more pleasant with it’s lack of shrill over-theatrics. It’s b-side, “Spirit House”, is delightfully more of the same and it’s lyric hook of “You’re just a dreamer, I’m just a dream” put a smile on my face every time. Two solid tracks worthy of your attention and money (come monday).
