MAYBE WE’RE JUST PLAYING HOUSE

“This is getting tough, sitting here waiting for you, and I think you’ve had enough” form some of the opening lines breathed by Active Child on his collaborative track with How To Dress Well’s Tom Krell and the sincerity of emotion is even more plain to see in this remix by talented UK producer Chad Valley. I cannot help but feel powerless when listening to it, susceptible to a numbing sensation that the music inspires in me. Closest to tears I’ve been in years. And that’s not even including it’s dramatic sense of urgency that arises at the 2:20 mark.
