WASTED DAYS

I’d just like to point all of y’all’s attention to the forthcoming Cloud Nothings album, Attack on Memory, because it contains one of the best songs I think I’ve ever heard: “Wasted Days”. It’s a sprawling mess at eight minutes and fifty four seconds long, but it all fits together perfectly, even that intense breakdown. “I thought, I would, be more, than this,” screams frontman Dylan Baldi, set against music spewing forth with anger and rage, totally summarising life’s more bitter moments of realisation. This darker side of his person coming forth is simply incredible and the album as a whole is an eye-opening development. Loud, brash and undoubtedly impacting, you’d be a fool to miss it.
