HOW TO DRESS WELL – BLUE CRYSTAL FIRE

I’ve been totally devoured by the recent, excellent How To Dress Well album Total Loss over the last week or so and lamented my choice of digital purchase when this cover, available as a special 7″ with the first run of LP pressings, surfaced online. It’s an adoring, yet burnt-out lament that adequately pulls at the heart-strings, reminiscing more of Elliott Smith than any of the R&B comparisons that Thomas Krell tends to receive.
