parquet courts – you’ve got me wondering now

Seeing Parquet Courts at the Loft during Great Escape is still probably the single most live highlight of my year. The facts: they played roughly played 25 minutes, had the crowd demanding more and blew everyone else off the stage. The result: Me writing about how invigorating their music still sounds and how this new EP, coming in October via What’s Yr Ruptute?, looks sure to set their abundant fires of fandom alive again. There are few guitar-led bands going RIGHT NOW that provide as much entertainment and dedication as these dudes. THIS IS JUST TOO GOOD.
