this track is from high water’s the beautiful moon ep, out on new york label other people, and it’s been sitting in an open tab for a little while, as I very slowly make my way through the kind of inevitable backlog that builds up. coming back to it though, was something special in of itself; there’s a kind of relaxing and disarmingly fragile harmony in that piano-led opening before it reveals itself fully and those goddamn endearing vocals come in, coming some way in explaining all of that recurrent, redolent heartache that my mind done gone feel.
